Which is more than I can say for you.
I have realized….
That I would rather be real than be beautiful.
That my relationships aren’t anything that would make sense to society…
and that’s just fine.
That I belong in the forest.
That I still care about those I claimed I would never stop caring for.
That nothing in life is mutually exclusive.
That you have not changed.
And thus, I could never be good enough for you.
But I sure did try.
